The project's objective is to expand and improve the airport's facilities, including the terminal building, utility tunnel, taxiway, and runway. The project involves the construction of 100 meters of extension to the existing runway and the installation of various equipment, including an Omnidirectional Radio Range, Non-directional Radio Beacons, Runway Lighting System, and Taxiway Lighting System. Additionally, the project includes the procurement and installation of equipment such as Radio Transmitter/Receiver Sets, Multichannel Tape Recorder, Meteorological and Central Tower Equipment, and Distance Measuring Equipment. The project also involves the renovation of the terminal building, including the extension of a portion of the existing addition. Furthermore, the project includes the construction of a utility tunnel and the strengthening of the taxiway at runway 0)/21 and 10/36. These items will not be funded under the existing agreement. The equipment to be procured and installed includes various types of radio equipment, such as VHF Omnidirectional Radio Range, Non-directional Radio Beacons, and Radio Transmitter/Receiver Sets. Additionally, the project includes the procurement of equipment for navigation, such as Runway Lighting System, Taxiway Lighting System, and Distance Measuring Equipment. The project also includes the procurement of equipment for meteorological and central tower operations, such as Meteorological and Central Tower Equipment. The project's scope of work includes the installation of various types of lighting systems, including Runway Lighting System, Taxiway Lighting System, and Ceiling Light Projector and Clinometer. Additionally, the project includes the installation of equipment for navigation, such as VOR-Localizer Receiver Test Equipment, DME Receiver Test Equipment, Marker Receiver Test Equipment, and Glide Slope Receiver Test Equipment. The project also includes the procurement of additional equipment, such as VHF/FM Walkie-talkies, VHF/FM Transceivers for Vehicle Notification, VHF/A1F Transceivers, Single Side-Band Transceivers, and VOR-Localizer Receiver Test Equipment.
