Abstract
and a U.S. commercial bank, a $7.5 million loan fund for onlending to rural, private sector, and agro-industry (primarily) or health activities in Thailand, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia, Jordan, Morocco, and other mutually agreed countries. The activities will involve U.S.-foreign joint ventures that are substantially owned by citizens of the country of execution and will provide for outreach programs to the small enterprise sector. The project aims to relieve key constraints to economic growth in AID-recipient countries (weak capital markets, shortage of business skills, and limited market access).
