Abstract
A privatization specialist will be placed for one year in Hungary"s newly established State Property Agency (SPA) as a senior advisor on Hungary"s privatization process and on the restructuring and privatizing of individual enterprises. The advisor will also assist in defining the SPA"s operational framework and organizational structure. In addition, short-term TA and training will be provided as requested by the SPA for specific problems relating to the privatization process, e.g., legal and regulatory matters, accounting, valuation assistance, and merchant banking.
