Abstract
ELTIC currently runs full-time programs in Brits and Bronkhorstpruit and plans to open a program in Bronkhorstpruit North (all in the PWV -- Pretoria-Witwatersrand-Vereeniging -- region of South Africa), increasing the number of schools it serves to more than 70. Under ELTIC"s program, six intensive courses are spread over 2 years, with a high degree of contact with teachers in the classroom. Along with program expansion, the grant will support curriculum and materials development as well as professional development of ELTIC staff.
