AID grant no. 442-0111-G-00-3428-00 to the United Nations for the United Nations trust fund for a human rights education program in Cambodia (democratic initiatives project)

The Trust Fund supports the human rights education and monitoring activities of Cambodia-based NGOs. Likely NGO subgrantee activities include: election monitoring training for Cambodian human rights groups; training of local human rights organizations; training of the Cambodian NGO delegation to the 1993 UN Commission of Human Rights; dissemination of educational materials on Buddhism and human rights; adaptation of educational materials into Khmer; a conference of human rights educators; and development of a human rights program for rural women.
