Grant is provided under the Human Rights project (9300086) to support a program of Columbia University"s Center for the Study of Human Rights to conduct a number of civil rights workshops and conferences in the United States for invitees from India, Africa, and possibly Latin America.

Most of the workshops will be co-sponsored by the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
