Grant is provided under the Human Rights project (9300086) to Catholic University of America to support the participation of ten Third World academics in a conference on the teaching of human rights.

Abstract

The conference, which will also have 25 U.S. academic participants, will promote the use of human rights teaching materials in a variety of subject areas (e.g., political science, economics) and will encourage interchange of views and mutual assistance between U.S. and Third World teachers concerned about human rights. The 5-day conference will begin 7/28/80.
