AID grant no. LA-0794-G-00-1003-00 to Freedom House to provide support for the Salvadoran election observation project

Freedom House will organize three one-week missions of ten observers each to El Salvador. These observers will meet with local political and grassroots leaders and observe the campaign process. Freedom House will prepare a report on the findings of the observer delegations, including recommendations for improving Salvadoran electoral practices. Freedom House will also establish a full-time office in El Salvador to monitor the rights of voters and organize observer delegation visits.
