AID grant to National Cooperative Business Association - CLUSA for a program of cooperative development in Mali

NCBA will provide input into the project"s cooperative development component by helping the project design team to assess, inter alia, the characteristics of Malian cooperatives, their training needs, potential relationships with private commercial enterprises, capability to manage credit and extension activities, etc. NCBA will also negotiate a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Mali for the DHV and other projects. It is anticipated that A.I.D. will sign a future agreement with NCBA to implement the project"s cooperative development component.
