APROSAMI - family planning and responsible parenthood, sexual education for teachers, and family planning and nutrition courses

Grant is provided under the Program Development and Support Project to help Centro Medico Carmen de La Legua (APROSAMI) of Peru to carry out the following courses: (1) twenty 3-day courses in responsible parenthood and family planning for a total of 300 participants; (2) a 5-day seminar in sex education for 30 teachers; and (3) two 1-month courses (comprising 15 hours of classroom instruction and 60 hours of field work) in family planning and nutrition for a total of 60 health professionals (auxiliary nurses, social workers, nutritionists, etc.).
