Abstract
The division's efforts focused on promoting land rights, improving land governance, and enhancing economic opportunities for local communities. The division's key accomplishments include the completion of a feasibility assessment for an impact evaluation of community forest concessions in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This assessment aimed to assess the effectiveness of community forest concessions in promoting sustainable forest management and improving local livelihoods. The division also conducted a meta-analysis of agriculture productivity, focusing on the realist synthesis of land rights and agricultural productivity. This analysis aimed to identify the most effective interventions for improving agricultural productivity and promoting land rights. Additionally, the division published a revised report on leveraging formal land rights for credit access, highlighting the importance of secure land rights in facilitating access to credit for smallholder farmers.
