Abstract
The project focuses on six geographic departments in Haiti: Centre, Ouest, Sud-Est, Nippes, Sud, and Grand'Anse. The two primary objectives of this contract are to certify facility-based performance data and to verify the accuracy of patient tracking and client satisfaction data. The project is implemented by LOGIK, with funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) under contract no. AID-521-C-14-00009. The project began on August 18, 2014, and is ongoing. The VRS Central and South project is part of the USAID | HAITI VRS Central and South Project, which is implemented by LOGIK. The project's methodology involves conducting a community survey to collect data on patient tracking and client satisfaction. The survey was conducted in April-June 2016, and the results are presented in this report. The survey population consisted of patients and clients who received services at SSQH Central and South-supported health facilities. The survey results indicate that the majority of patients and clients were satisfied with the care they received. Table 1 shows the number of health facilities assessed by department, facility level, and type. Table 2 presents the client's satisfaction regarding care received between April and June 2016 at SSQH Central and South-supported health facilities. The results also show that patient/client satisfaction varied by department, facility level, and facility type. Table 4 presents the client satisfaction score regarding care received between April and June 2016 at SSQH Central and South-supported health facilities by department. Table 6 presents the client satisfaction score regarding care received between April and June 2016 at SSQH Central and South-supported health facilities by facility level. The survey results also indicate that the majority of patients and clients were satisfied with the care they received, with a high level of satisfaction reported in all departments, facility levels, and facility types. Figure 6 presents the client satisfaction regarding care received between April and June 2016 at SSQH Central and South-supported health facilities. The main issues and recommendations identified in the report include the need to improve patient tracking and client satisfaction data, as well as the need to increase the accuracy of facility-based performance data. The report recommends that the SSQH Central and South project continue to work with health facilities to improve data quality and accuracy, and to provide technical assistance to health facilities to improve patient tracking and client satisfaction. The SSQH Central and South project has made significant progress in verifying the reliability of data submitted to inform SSQH awards. The project has also identified areas for improvement, including the need to improve patient tracking and client satisfaction data, and to increase the accuracy of facility-based performance data. The project will continue to work with health facilities to improve data quality and accuracy, and to provide technical assistance to health facilities to improve patient tracking and client satisfaction.
