Abstract
The project involves the construction of two new water reservoirs, two new booster pump stations, and associated supply and distribution pipelines. The objective is to increase access to clean drinking water for the population of Gaza, with a focus on the Al Atatrah and Nuseirat areas. The Al Atatrah project includes the construction of a 3800m3 ground reservoir, replacing an abandoned elevated water tank, and the supply and installation of a Skid Mounted Booster Pump Station and a new Booster Pump Station connected to a new UPVC distribution network. The Nuseirat project involves the construction of a 3800m3 ground reservoir and a new Booster Pump Station connected to a new UPVC distribution network. The project's scope of work includes the rehabilitation and construction of roads, schools, and water and wastewater projects, with a focus on improving Palestinians' access to basic infrastructure and services. The USAID objective is to help the Palestinian economy by improving access to basic infrastructure and services.
