Abstract
The data collected for these services includes the number of clients counselled, their demographic information, and the family planning methods they opt for. The number of clients counselled during general visits to family planning clinics varies across months, with an average of 6 clients per month. Similarly, the number of clients counselled during antenatal care visits averages around 7 per month. In early labour, an average of 8 clients receive counselling services, while in the postpartum period, both within 48 hours and extended postpartum, an average of 9 clients are counselled. The demographic information collected includes the client's name, gender, age, and husband's/wife's name. The gender of the client is recorded as either male (M) or female (F), while the age is recorded in years. The number of living children the client has is also recorded, with an average of 3 children per client. The family planning methods opted for by clients include sterilization, limiting and spacing methods, and other contraceptive methods. Sterilization is the most common method, with an average of 5 clients opting for it per month. Limiting and spacing methods, such as LAM, are also popular, with an average of 4 clients opting for them per month. Other contraceptive methods, including condoms, injectable MPA, and PPIUCD, are also used by clients. The intention of clients for more children in the future is also recorded, with an average of 60% of clients indicating that they do not want more children. The remaining clients are either undecided or want more children in the future. The data collected for family planning counselling services provides valuable insights into the needs and preferences of clients. It highlights the importance of providing accessible and effective family planning services to clients at various stages of their reproductive lives.
