Abstract
The company operates four stores in Chișinău and operates an online store (www.mallena.md). The target age range for their products is between 18 and 55 years. In recent years, the company has developed a new brand, "Mallena Home," and produces textiles for the home, including tablecloths, towels, bedding, and curtains. The company aims to incorporate new equipment to increase the quality of their products, reduce production time, and increase productivity. To address these goals, the company received a grant to acquire a digital embroidery machine (Ricomar) and an industrial sewing machine. The digital embroidery machine has a larger working area and can produce more complex products. The machine has 12 colors that can be automatically changed, reducing production time. The industrial sewing machine is equipped with advanced technology and can be used for flat sewing, including bags and jackets, as well as sewing shirts and pants. The machine has its own operating system, allowing for real-time changes to embroidery designs and eliminating the need for additional software. The new equipment has enabled the company to produce more complex designs, including embroidered elements on handbags, dresses, and home textiles. The company has been able to increase productivity and quality, and has seen a significant increase in the number of satisfied customers. The company's contribution to the project was MDL, covering the cost of materials and consumables for the equipment purchased. The equipment was procured by FTA, Chemonics International. The costs were within the anticipated range, with no deviations reported.
