Abstract

Various types of leadership are classified and compared, and biographies of selected individuals are included. Four associations are examined in depth to show the extent to which they are dominated and controlled by the city"s elite. Shows how and why prevailing theories held by pluralists about voluntary associations do not work in Manizales.
