Abstract
More than 2,500 farmers received training in sustainable agriculture techniques, with a focus on composting, crop rotation, and mechanical land preparation. The program's success was attributed to the effective integration of training, infrastructure development, and market linkage facilitation. These interventions enabled farmers to increase their productivity, access better markets, and improve their overall well-being. The program's impact was sustained over time, with continued improvements in crop yields and household income observed in the final evaluation. The agricultural development initiative in Rwanda served as a model for similar programs in other regions, highlighting the importance of integrated interventions in addressing the complex challenges facing smallholder farmers.
