Abstract
The main purpose of the initiative was to increase the capacity of the Association of Rural Development of the Poltava Region in the formulation and implementation of agrarian policies at the local level. The association's goals included strengthening and ensuring the sustainable functioning of the organization, as well as promoting the development of the agricultural sector in the region. To achieve these goals, the association implemented several tasks and activities, including the creation of a permanent consultative council with representatives of agricultural associations, the formation and organization of activities of at least six working groups on different directions of agricultural development and rural development, and the preparation of proposals for the improvement of existing legislative and administrative acts. The association also conducted a series of seminars, round tables, and conferences to discuss issues and priorities related to the project. Additionally, the association developed and implemented a plan for the development of organizational capacity, including training and education for members and partners. The project achieved several key outcomes, including the creation of a permanent consultative council and the formation of at least six working groups. The association also conducted training and education for members and partners, including a seminar on fundraising and a seminar on the effective use of information technologies in the development of agricultural associations. The association's efforts resulted in the development of a plan for the development of organizational capacity, including the creation of a package of agricultural consulting services to ensure the implementation of project tasks.
