Abstract
The project aimed to enhance the institutional capacity of agricultural associations in the region to advocate for the implementation of public policy standards. Initial assessments identified a lack of awareness among agricultural association leaders, government officials, and community members about the existence of strategic documents, programs, and projects affecting the development of the agricultural sector in the region. A sociological survey revealed that only 36.7% of respondents were aware of the existence of such documents, while 31.1% had no knowledge of them. To address this issue, the project organized a series of seminars, workshops, and training sessions for agricultural association leaders, government officials, and community members. These events aimed to increase awareness about the importance of strategic documents, programs, and projects in the agricultural sector and to promote collaboration between government and civil society organizations. The project also focused on developing a content analysis of official documents from regional and local government agencies in Poltava Oblast. This analysis aimed to identify the main themes, priorities, and challenges in the agricultural sector and to provide recommendations for improving the effectiveness of regional and local agricultural policies. The project's activities included the organization of 25 regional seminars, press conferences, and training sessions, which involved over 800 participants, including women and men from various agricultural associations, government agencies, and community organizations. The project also established working groups with representatives from government agencies, agricultural associations, and community organizations to develop and implement a set of standards for public agricultural policy in the region. The project's achievements included the development of a set of standards for public agricultural policy in Poltava Region, the establishment of working groups with representatives from government agencies, agricultural associations, and community organizations, and the increase in awareness among agricultural association leaders, government officials, and community members about the importance of strategic documents, programs, and projects in the agricultural sector. The project's results showed a significant increase in the level of awareness among participants about the existence and content of strategic documents, programs, and projects affecting the development of the agricultural sector in the region. The project also contributed to the development of a more effective regional and local agricultural policy, which took into account the needs and priorities of the agricultural sector and the community. The project's impact was also reflected in the increased participation of women in the agricultural sector, with 60.4% of participants in the project's activities being women. The project's activities also contributed to the development of a more collaborative relationship between government agencies, agricultural associations, and community organizations, which was essential for the effective implementation of public agricultural policy in the region.
