Abstract
The organization's primary goal is to ensure access to safe water for more Paraguayans through the implementation of a comprehensive and sustainable management model for community-managed water systems. The FEPAJUS aims to develop and strengthen the technical and management skills of individuals responsible for community-managed water systems. The project "Gestión Comunitaria del Agua" was implemented from August 2014 to February 2018, with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The project's main objectives were to strengthen the FEPAJUS, consolidate an efficient management model for community-managed water systems, and raise awareness about the importance of safe water and user participation in water management. The project's components included the strengthening of the FEPAJUS, consolidation of an efficient management model for community-managed water systems, and a campaign to raise awareness about the importance of safe water and user participation in water management. The project also included monitoring and evaluation activities, as well as lessons learned and challenges faced by each component. The project's results showed that the FEPAJUS was strengthened, and a model of efficient management for community-managed water systems was consolidated. The campaign to raise awareness about the importance of safe water and user participation in water management was also successful. The project's financial summary showed that the project was implemented within budget, and the administrative and operational costs were managed effectively. The project's impact was significant, with the FEPAJUS becoming a key player in Paraguay's water management sector. The project's results also showed that community-managed water systems were more effective and efficient, and that the population served by these systems had better access to safe water. The project's lessons learned and challenges faced by each component were also documented, providing valuable insights for future projects. The project's results were presented in a report that included a summary of the project's activities, results, and impact. The report also included a description of the project's indicators and goals, as well as the importance of these goals and the reasons why they were not achieved in some cases. The report concluded that the project's objectives were met, and that the project's results were significant and sustainable. The project's success was due to the effective collaboration between the FEPAJUS, the project team, and other stakeholders. The project's results also showed that the FEPAJUS was able to develop and strengthen its technical and management skills, and that the organization was able to become a key player in Paraguay's water management sector. The project's impact was also significant in terms of its contribution to the development of Paraguay's water management sector. The project's results showed that community-managed water systems were more effective and efficient, and that the population served by these systems had better access to safe water.
