The initiatives aim to promote equality of opportunities for women and men and to universalize health services. The implementation of these initiatives is being carried out by the Gerencia Regional de Desarrollo Forestal y de Fauna Silvestre (GERFOR) in Loreto. The GERFOR is responsible for managing the forest and wildlife resources in the region and for implementing policies and programs related to forest conservation and sustainable development. The GERFOR has been working to create a Unidad Ejecutora Presupuestal (UEP) in Loreto, which will be responsible for implementing the initiatives and programs related to forest conservation and sustainable development. The UEP will be responsible for managing the budget and resources allocated for these initiatives and for ensuring that they are implemented in a timely and efficient manner. The GERFOR has also been working to establish a system for monitoring and evaluating the progress of the initiatives and programs related to forest conservation and sustainable development. This system will include indicators and metrics for measuring the impact of these initiatives and programs on the environment, the economy, and the communities in the region. In terms of the specific activities being implemented, the GERFOR has been working to: * Coordinate the demand for additional resources and activities in 2020, aligned with the Programa de Inversión (PI) and the Plan Operativo (POI) 0130. * Suggest programming the expenditure of specific funds that are not restricted by the Ley de Presupuesto del sector público. * Suggest creating a cronograma de implementación (implementation schedule) for the demand for additional resources and activities. * Coordinate with the three regions to include their activities in the Plan Estratégico de Inversión (PEI) and the Plan de Desarrollo Regional de la Competitividad (PDRC). * Recommend, coordinate, and modify the budgeted expenses in the Presupuesto Institucional de Apertura 2020 of the GERFOR, which were in Acciones Centrales and the chain functional programmatic 9001/3.999999/5.000002/17/006/007 Meta 0247916 Mantenimiento y Operatividad de la Gerencia Regional de Desarrollo Forestal y de Fauna Silvestre. * Recommend, coordinate, and modify the budgeted expenses in the Presupuesto Institucional de Apertura
