Abstract
The initiative aimed to strengthen mechanisms for transparency and access to public information. The service and data update system involved the registration and submission of 86 documents related to acts of resolution, including plans, reports, and notifications. The documents were submitted by various concession holders, including Empresa Forestal Pucallpa Export SRL and Forestal JJ&L EIRL. The documents submitted included plans for forest management, operational plans, and reports on the implementation of concession agreements. The concession holders also submitted documents related to the reformulation of their concessions, including reports on the evaluation of their activities and notifications of changes to their concession agreements. The data update system provided a platform for the GERFFS to manage and update information on concessions in real-time. The system allowed for the registration and submission of documents, as well as the tracking of the status of concession agreements. The implementation of the service and data update system aimed to improve transparency and accountability in the management of concessions in the Peruvian Amazon. The system provided a platform for concession holders to submit documents and reports, and for the GERFFS to track and manage the information related to concessions. The initiative also aimed to strengthen the capacity of the GERFFS to manage concessions and to ensure that concession holders comply with the terms and conditions of their agreements. The implementation of the service and data update system was a key component of the initiative, and it was expected to contribute to the improvement of transparency and accountability in the management of concessions in the Peruvian Amazon. The initiative was implemented in the provinces of Coronel Portillo, Padre Abad, and Purús, and it involved the participation of various stakeholders, including concession holders, community leaders, and government officials. The implementation of the initiative was expected to have a positive impact on the environment and the local communities, and it was seen as a key step towards the sustainable management of the Peruvian Amazon.
