Abstract
The training programs emphasized the importance of crop rotation, composting, and conservation agriculture. These results were attributed to the adoption of improved agricultural techniques and improved access to inputs such as fertilizers and seeds. This finding suggests that women in these households were more likely to adopt sustainable agricultural practices, potentially due to their greater involvement in household decision-making. The program's success was attributed to the integrated approach, which addressed both the supply and demand sides of the agricultural market. The results of the midterm evaluation suggest that the program is on track to achieve its long-term goals of improving agricultural productivity and income for small-scale farmers in Eastern Province.
