Abstract
The program aims to provide scholarships to Egyptian students from diverse backgrounds, with a focus on promoting academic excellence and leadership development. The program was established in 2010, with an initial award of 150 scholarships, and has since been expanded to include additional cohorts. The program's target population includes students from all 27 governorates of Egypt, with a focus on promoting geographic diversity. As of the current reporting period, a total of 142 students from Cohort 1 and 2 have been selected and are currently enrolled in academic programs at partner universities. The breakdown of students by governorate and gender is as follows: Alexandria (9 male, 6 female), Assiut (11 male, 5 female), Aswan (11 male, 7 female), Beheira (8 male, 4 female), Beni Sueif (18 male, 10 female), Cairo (17 male, 7 female), Dakahlia (6 male, 4 female), Damietta (4 male, 2 female), Fayoum (9 male, 6 female), Gharbia (5 male, 3 female), Giza (10 male, 7 female), Ismailia (5 male, 3 female), K. El Sheikh (4 male, 2 female), Luxor (6 male, 4 female), Matrouh (5 male, 3 female), Menofeya (9 male, 6 female), Minya (11 male, 7 female), New Valley (6 male, 4 female), N. Sinai (5 male, 3 female), Port Said (4 male, 2 female), Qaliyobia (5 male, 3 female), Qena (6 male, 4 female), Red Sea (4 male, 2 female), Sharkiya (9 male, 6 female), Sohag (11 male, 7 female), S.
