Manual de Auditoría Social para la Distribución de Textos Escolares

The manual aims to provide a practical guide for applying social audit procedures to the distribution of school texts in Honduras. It is intended for use by facilitators and capacitors to design and conduct training workshops for community organizations, particularly parent associations. The manual is divided into several chapters, each addressing a different aspect of the social audit process. Chapter 1 provides an overview of the process of acquisition, distribution, and use of school texts, including the procedures and variants employed by the Secretariat of Education. Chapter 2 describes the methodology and instruments to be used in the social audit, while Chapter 3 presents the results of the audit and recommendations for improvement. The social audit process involves several stages, including the acquisition of school texts through public international bidding, the distribution of texts to schools, and the use of texts in educational centers. The manual provides a detailed description of each stage, including the procedures and instruments to be used. The manual also includes a CD with additional documents and tools for facilitators and capacitors to use in planning and organizing training workshops.
