Abstract
It provides guidance and recommendations for their activities, allowing them to recall what they learned in the Product Development workshops and benefit from the experience of other colleagues who perform similar work. The manual is divided into four chapters. Chapter 1, "La cadena de producción" (The Production Chain), reviews the steps involved in producing products. Chapter 2, "El control de calidad" (Quality Control), examines one of the most important tasks in the production process: checking products to ensure they are well-made. Chapter 3, "Formatos para informar" (Reporting Formats), reviews all the formats that must be known and managed, so that colleagues can be informed of progress. Chapter 4, "La administración, las rendiciones y los pagos" (Administration, Deliveries, and Payments), reminds readers how to organize their accounts. The production process can be imagined as a chain, with each task building on the previous one. Each person on the "Desarrollo de Productos" (Product Development) team has tasks to complete. From the moment a client decides to buy a product to the moment the finished product is delivered, there are many tasks to be performed. Each step in the production process is like a link in the chain, and if all the links are complete and connected, the chain is strong and continuous. However, if any link in the chain is broken, the entire chain is damaged, and production is affected. If the team fails to meet a deadline, they may not receive payment, and the client may lose trust in the company. To build a strong production chain, the team must work together and plan each task carefully. The first step is to receive a production request from the central office, which includes the product specifications, quantity, and deadline. The team must then plan the tasks to be completed and organize their work to ensure that the products are well-made and delivered on time. The team must consider several factors when planning the production process, including the number of products to be produced, the deadline, and the availability of materials and equipment. They must also plan the training and support needed for the productoras (producers) and ensure that they have the necessary tools and materials. The team must also plan the quality control process, which involves checking the products to ensure they meet the required standards. They must also plan the delivery and payment process, including the timing and method of payment. By following this manual, the team can ensure that their production process is efficient, effective, and meets the needs of their clients.
