Abstract
The manual is designed for trainers and supervisors within local associations and coalitions/networks, as well as local collectivities. The training program is divided into three parts: a first part covering general and theoretical aspects of the Approach Genre and Social Inclusion, a second part focusing on practical and application-oriented aspects on the ground, and annexes providing relevant and reliable references in Arabic, French, and English on gender and social inclusion. The manual aims to strengthen the capacities of members and personnel of Organizations of Civil Society (OSCs) in the Approach Genre and Social Inclusion, enabling them to consider these approaches in the design and formulation of their activities. The specific objectives of the training program include: * To provide a comprehensive understanding of the Approach Genre and Social Inclusion, including their definitions, concepts, and tools; * To equip trainers and supervisors with the necessary knowledge and skills to integrate the Approach Genre and Social Inclusion into their projects and plaidoyers; * To facilitate the development of inclusive policies and practices that address the needs of marginalized populations; * To promote the participation of citizens and local communities in the decision-making process; * To provide a framework for analyzing and addressing gender and social inclusion issues in the context of development projects and policies. The training program covers various topics, including: * The concept of gender and its relationship to development; * The importance of social inclusion and its impact on marginalized populations; * The principles and practices of the Approach Genre and Social Inclusion; * The role of OSCs in promoting gender and social inclusion; * The development of inclusive policies and practices; * The analysis and evaluation of gender and social inclusion issues. The manual is accompanied by a set of pedagogical supports, including annexes, references, and resources. The training program is designed to be flexible and adaptable to the needs of different audiences and contexts.
