Abstract
The primary objective of these service centers is to provide a comprehensive range of services to various segments of citizens, including those with special needs, the unemployed, the disabled, widows, and divorcees. The initial stage of the project involved a basic assessment to determine the type and number of services provided by the departments of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs - Department of Social Safety Network. This assessment aimed to identify the existing services and infrastructure requirements for the One Stop Shop (OSS) service center for social safety network (SSN). The assessment also involved completing the architectural design of the OSS service center for Al-Najaf province. The infrastructure requirements for the OSS service center for SSN were defined, and technical specifications for the electronic queuing system were provided according to international standard specifications. Additionally, a bill of quantities (BOQ) was prepared for the OSS service center. The electronic queuing system is designed to streamline the service delivery process and improve the overall efficiency of the service centers. However, the project faced a significant challenge when the necessary financial budget for the rehabilitation of the social protection network building in Najaf province was not provided. This budget was essential to match the requirements of the OSS service center, which would have enabled the implementation of the project to proceed as planned. Despite this setback, the project team continued to work on the design and implementation stages of the system software for the integrated service centers.
