Abstract
The project objective is to provide access to the proposed Hebron Regional Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) located to the south of Hebron City. The access road is approximately 1.0 km long and includes features such as asphalted sidewalks, box culverts, retaining structures, and roadway marking signs. The project includes the construction of an access road, rehabilitation of an existing paved road, and construction of water and sewer utilities. The access road will be constructed in two segments, with Segment A starting at the Hebron WWTP and Segment B extending to the storage yard. The project also involves the construction of water and sewer pipelines, including 2.0 km of 4-inch and 2-inch diameter water pipelines and 600 meters of 60-inch diameter sewer pipe. The project key personnel include the Task Order Manager, Sameer K.El Khaldi, Quality Control Manager, Mohammad A.Abu Zeina, Safety &Environmental Compliance Officer, Omar M. Qasem Al Qaisi, and Project Engineer, Sameer N.Tamimi. The project has a contractual completion date of August 11, 2015, and an estimated completion date of August 11, 2015. As of April 30, 2015, the contract elapsed time is 57.08%, and the planned percentage of completion is 19.19%. The actual percentage of completion is 18.23%, and the current percentage of completion is 6.15%. The project has zero float days, indicating that the project is on track to meet its contractual completion date. The safety plan for the project was submitted on January 14, 2015, and was reviewed and accepted by the Construction Management Contractor (CMC) on February 1, 2015. An updated monthly safety plan was submitted to CMC on April 19, 2015, but was returned with an action to revise and resubmit. A monthly update for the safety plan will be submitted to CMC. The project has made significant progress in the past month, with the start of Segment A of the access road and the construction of water and sewer pipelines. The project team has also conducted regular safety meetings and has implemented safety measures to ensure the well-being of employees and the public. The project has a total contract value of $2,598,705.00, with a day work amount of $150,000.00. The project has a period of performance of 240 calendar days, with a contractual completion date of August 11, 2015.
