Abstract
The project aims to improve the transmission of water supply to villages southwest of the Jenin municipality, improve water storage by constructing new reservoirs, and provide a reliable, safe, and affordable water supply to the project area. The project is part of the USAID Mission Infrastructure Needs Program II (INP II), which focuses on the rehabilitation and lack of investment in infrastructure in the West Bank. The project's objective is to upgrade the water supply system in the southwest part of the Jenin Governorate. The project scope includes the construction of six reservoirs, as well as the rehabilitation of existing water supply infrastructure. The project also includes the installation of new water transmission lines, pumps, and treatment facilities. The project's start date is December 27, 2015, and the contractual end date is February 16, 2017. The project's budget is USD 12,449,433.37, with an original day work amount of USD 500,000 and a modified day work amount of USD 418,554.37. The project's location is in the Jenin Governorate, specifically in the areas of Arraba, Kuferit, Ajja, Kafr Rai, and Sanur.
