Abstract
To connect to MyUSAID, users must first access the website by typing in 'My.USAID.Gov' in their browser. Once logged in, users can navigate to the social collaboration features, which include enabling corporate applications, updating their profile, adding a picture, following people, and following subjects. Enabling corporate applications is a crucial step in utilizing MyUSAID's full potential. Users can access the apps by hovering over the 'Apps' option in the left panel of their home page and clicking on it. From there, they can explore the entire catalogue of MyUSAID apps by clicking on 'Explore Apps.' To enable the Agency Notices app, users simply need to click on the 'Enable' button. Updating a user's profile is essential for effective collaboration and networking within the MyUSAID community. To update a profile, users can choose the 'Edit Profile' option from their name's drop-down menu at the top of the page. They can then add basic information, experience, showcase, and customization details to their profile. Once complete, users can hit the 'Save and Close' button to save their changes. Adding a picture to a user's profile is also a straightforward process. To do so, users can hover over their picture or its placeholder and click on the 'Upload Photo' option. They can then select the desired picture file from their computer and crop it using the provided tools. Once the picture is uploaded and cropped, users can click on the 'Save' button to save their changes. Following people and subjects is another key feature of MyUSAID. To follow someone, users can navigate to the 'People' button in the navigation pane and enter the person's name in the search field. They can then click on the 'Follow' button to subscribe to that person's posts. Similarly, users can follow subjects by clicking on the 'Subjects' option in the left panel, navigating to the desired subject, and clicking on the 'Follow' button. Once a user begins following a subject, all new posts related to that subject will appear on their wall.
