Abstract
The program will transfer information from the ECSS e-learning portal and online resource library, Maktabat, to new domains. The transfer will include the creation of new email accounts and social media pages, and the management of all new sites. All new sites and changes to prior sites will be reviewed by USAID before publication. The Maktabat resource library is tailored to the needs of civil society organizations in Egypt, providing training materials, manuals, and presentations on organizational development topics. Counterpart International will transfer the wireframes from the Maktabat site to a new domain, removing all reference to MSI and ECSS. A message will be displayed on the old MSI domain, informing users of the transfer and redirecting them to the new domain. The website will use language addressing the wider MENA CSO demographic, focusing on the Egyptian context post-registration. The Egypt Civil Society Support e-learning portal offers courses on financial management, monitoring and evaluation, external relations, and strategic management. The CADRE project will transfer the wireframes to a new domain, removing all mention of MSI and the previous ECSSEL project. A message will be displayed on the old MSI domain, explaining the transfer and redirecting users to the new domain. The website will use language addressing the wider MENA CSO demographic, focusing on the Egyptian context post-registration. The current status of the e-learning portal and course materials indicates that registration is limited to previous trainees, and the portal language is in English with Arabic courses and materials. The introduction to e-learning course is a static text without interactive images or animations. CADRE proposes to update the e-learning portal by expanding marketing to include interested individuals and CSOs, making the portal preface bilingual, converting the introduction course to an automated interactive course, and designing additional courses on topics related to CADRE activities. The CADRE project intends to create an email account powered by Gmail, providing storage space at a reasonable cost. Upon registration, the program will develop a Facebook page and other social media profiles to increase the visibility of the Maktabat and e-learning websites. The current Facebook page will be updated with a written notification informing users that the ECSS project is now closed, and an additional message will be inserted to redirect users to the new domain.
