Abstract
The Subdirector General de Salud Policial oversees the Hospital de la Policía Nacional Civil, the clinics of the Academia, and other hospital services. To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in service, including experience in hospital administration. A Licenciatura in Administration or Medicine is preferred, and the candidate must be a Comisario General de Policía Nacional Civil in active service. The candidate must also have knowledge of Guatemalan law, international law, and police regulations, as well as experience in the administration and execution of health projects. The Subdirector General de Salud Policial must possess leadership skills, democratic relations, conflict resolution, and analytical and synthesis abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required, as well as the ability to manage human, physical, and financial resources. The candidate must also be proactive, able to work under pressure, and have a high level of emotional intelligence, stress management, and sociability.
