Abstract
One such initiative is the "How To Start a Business" workshop, which is a five-day program designed to equip entrepreneurs with the necessary skills and knowledge to establish and manage a successful business. The daily tasks of a business owner are multifaceted and require a range of skills, including planning, decision-making, leadership, motivating, and organizing. A business owner must possess personal qualities such as determination, hard work, and a willingness to take calculated risks. They must also be organized, well-informed, and able to adapt to changing market conditions. Practical skills and business management skills are essential for a business owner to succeed. These skills include the ability to deal with suppliers, manage deliveries, organize tasks, and manage time effectively. For example, if a business owner plans to start a grocery store, they must know how to select and buy goods, bargain with suppliers, and transport and store the products. Similarly, if they plan to start a clothing business, they need to have knitting and sewing skills. Business management skills are critical for running a business efficiently. A business owner must know how to deal with suppliers, manage deliveries, organize tasks, and manage time effectively. They must also be able to organize the time of employees, their daily work schedules, and salaries. Effective time management is essential to ensure that all tasks are completed properly and on time. The "How To Start a Business" workshop is designed to equip entrepreneurs with the necessary skills and knowledge to establish and manage a successful business. By the end of the workshop, participants will gain a good understanding of the daily tasks of a business owner, the skill set required to be a successful entrepreneur, and the practical and management skills necessary to run a business effectively. The workshop will also cover personal finance assessment, market research, and the marketing mix, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the business start-up process.
