Abstract
The project is funded by USAID and operates under the EQUIP3 agreement. The quarterly report for April 1st to June 30th, 2015, highlights significant progress in fulfilling performance indicators and laying groundwork for achieving goals in the last two quarters. Technical activities were a key focus during this quarter, with five organizations launching at-risk youth support services. These organizations, including UNITEC, RETE, APAN-Children International, CDH, and CRH, conducted workshops in various communities, providing vocational technical training in areas such as food management, information technology, and beauty and cosmetology. The training was complemented by life skills training, with RETE and Honduran Red Cross adopting the Module Skills for Work Readiness (HEL) designed by METAS. Institutional strengthening was also a priority, with NGOs receiving support and monitoring in technical areas, administration, finance, security, communications, and resource leverage. A workshop on the HEL module was conducted to publicize the methodology and technical requirements for implementation. The process of planning to complete the implementation of the gender strategy project has begun. The project has made significant progress in fulfilling performance indicators, with a clear flowchart of activities structured for the employment linkage strategy. This strategy was developed in collaboration with employers, executors, and beneficiaries, ensuring a validated, structured, and clear approach. The project has also shown significant progress in the fulfillment of performance indicators, laying groundwork for achieving goals in the last two quarters. The agreement with CESAL was signed, and they will develop the Skills Component for Work Readiness for young people in education centers that are beneficiaries of the project. This module will be part of the CLB program and will strengthen it. An agreement was also signed with five NGOs to develop the strategy of employment linkage, including CDH, CESAL, Intur, Unitec, and Children International. The project has demonstrated significant progress in the fulfillment of performance indicators, with a clear flowchart of activities structured for the employment linkage strategy. The project has also shown significant progress in the fulfillment of performance indicators, laying groundwork for achieving goals in the last two quarters. The project's focus on at-risk youth support services, institutional strengthening, and employment linkage strategy has been instrumental in achieving these results.
