Abstract
The partnership brings together institutions from six countries, including Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, and others, with a total of 136 active institutions. RPCD's primary focus is on addressing development research needs in the region, with a particular emphasis on issues related to governance, water management, and climate change. One of the key initiatives undertaken by RPCD is the development of a holistic growth solution that bridges corporate and developmental objectives. This is achieved through the work of CID Consulting, a member of the RPCD Partnership Forum, which is chaired by Dr. Laila Iskander. Dr. Iskander has over 20 years of experience working with Egyptian grassroots organizations and has been instrumental in promoting cultural development in the region. RPCD has been actively engaged in various research and development initiatives, including the organization of webinars and workshops on topics such as qualitative research methods, sustainable waste management, and rural tourism. The partnership has also collaborated with other organizations, such as the Arab Water Council, to host sessions on climate change and water management in the MENA region. In addition to its research initiatives, RPCD has been involved in various events and conferences, including the Sustainable Waste Management Middle East Summit in Dubai and the Arab Water Week in Amman, Jordan. The partnership has also been working with institutions such as the American University in Cairo and the Issam Fares Institute to promote cultural development and research in the region. RPCD's work is focused on addressing the challenges facing the MENA region, including climate change, water scarcity, and governance issues. The partnership is committed to promoting sustainable development and cultural growth in the region, and its initiatives are aimed at supporting the development of policies and programs that address these challenges. The partnership has also been involved in various publications and research projects, including a World Bank report on adaptation to a changing climate in the Arab countries and a book on globalization, human rights, and the public spheres in the Arab world. RPCD's work is aimed at promoting cultural development and research in the MENA region, and its initiatives are focused on supporting the development of policies and programs that address the challenges facing the region.
