Sub-sector 1.1, Improving Agricultural Production/Food Security, included four activities: Household Gardens, Breeding of Broiler Chickens, Training in Biological and Ecological Pest Control, and Implementation of DecidoSer. Sector Two, Protection, consisted of one sub-sector: Psychological Support Services. Sector Three, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene, included three sub-sectors: Water Supply, Environment Health, and Hygiene Promotion. Sub-sector 3.1, Water Supply, involved repairing boreholes, while Sub-sector 3.2, Environment Health, focused on environmental health issues. Sub-sector 3.3, Hygiene Promotion, aimed to promote hygiene practices among beneficiaries. Challenges faced during the reporting period included equipment and personnel shortages, as well as logistical difficulties in accessing remote areas. Despite these challenges, the program made significant progress in implementing its activities. A total of 2,500 farmers received training in sustainable agriculture techniques, with 1,500 participating in household garden activities. The program also reported a 27% increase in the number of households with access to improved water sources.
