The Small Grants Program, implemented by the National Rural Support Programme (NRSP), received 8 new applications during the reporting period of November 16-27, 2015.

Abstract
This brings the total number of applications received since the resumption of the small grants program on November 18, 2014, to 341. Province-wise and sector-wise details of received applications show that Punjab received 5 applications, Sindh received 2, Balochistan received 1, KPK/FATA received no applications, and Nationwide/ICT received no applications. Out of the 341 applications received, 323 have been shared with USAID for initial review, while 9 applications were served non-compliance letters due to missing basic information. The remaining 9 applications are under checklist preparation process at SGAFP. USAID reviewed 3 applications and declined all of them for further processing. Cumulatively, USAID has reviewed 291 applications since the resumption of the small grants program, with 32 applications still in-process at USAID. Against the 66 cases cleared for further processing, SGAFP has submitted 54 fully processed grant summaries, with 36 recommended for award and 18 recommended not for award. Since the resumption of the small grants program in November 2014, USAID has approved 32 grants and declined 13 applications, while 9 cases are in-process at USAID. Details of these 9 cases are presented in Annex-II. SGAFP has formally closed 46 grants upon completion of their grant projects, along with stipulated outputs and milestones. The number of projects under implementation at various stages stands at 28, while grant agreements of 6 recently approved cases are in preparation stage. Province-wise details show that AJK has 2 approved grants, GB has 4 approved grants, ICT has 3 approved grants, Balochistan has 12 approved grants, Sindh has 18 approved grants, KP/FATA has 23 approved grants, and Punjab has 18 approved grants. Cumulatively, SGAFP has disbursed US $10.26 million, which is 59% of the approved grant funds of US $17.49 million. A province and sector-wise update on projects and funds approved and disbursed is presented in Annex-III. During the reporting period, SGAFP's field teams/project office staff conducted field monitoring support visits of 10 grantees' organizations in KPK, Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan. A consolidated summary of SGAFP's overall achievements since the start of the program in September 2010 is presented in Annex-IV.
