Abstract
The program aims to provide housing solutions for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and receptor communities in rural and urban areas. The program has two main components: the Aid for the Formulation of Rural Housing Projects and the Aid for the Formulation of Urban Housing Projects. The rural housing component focuses on providing housing solutions for IDPs who wish to return to their places of origin or resettle in rural areas. The program provides technical assistance and financial resources to municipalities to develop housing projects, which are then submitted to the Agrarian Bank for approval. The urban housing component focuses on providing housing solutions for IDPs who are currently living in urban areas. The program provides technical assistance and financial resources to municipalities to develop housing projects, which are then submitted to INURBE for approval. As of the end of the reporting period, 6 housing projects were submitted to INURBE, which will benefit 362 IDP families or 1,810 individuals. The program also includes a component on social and psychological assistance to IDPs. The project aims to produce a database of existing texts and documents on psychosocial assistance to IDPs, which will provide important statistical results on the problem. The project has achieved several results, including the creation of a database containing information on 3,000 references and a documentary database on interventions in displacement. Another component of the program is the Strengthening of Displaced Communities Organization and Stabilization. This component aims to strengthen the organizational capacity of displaced communities and promote their stabilization. The program provides training and technical assistance to community leaders and provides financial resources to support community development projects.
