Abstract
The project aims to rapidly expand state-of-the-art TB case detection and health-seeking behavior, integrate high-impact practices, and create a supportive environment for TB and drug-resistant TB (DR-TB) care. The project's objectives include maximizing TB case detection and health-seeking behavior, integrating high-impact practices, and creating a supportive environment for TB and DR-TB care. TBIHSS employs different public health approaches to support and institutionalize health systems integration as part of the Universal Health (UHC) law. The FY 2023 work plan responds to the Department of Health-Disease Prevention and Control Bureau (DOH-DPCB) vision and strategy, shifting from verticalized disease prevention to integrated standards of health, including TB. The project will continue to provide technical support to counterparts to establish an enabling environment for scale-up, rollout, and sustainability of interventions. TBIHSS will focus on expanding state-of-the-art TB case detection and health-seeking behavior, integrating high-impact practices, and creating a supportive environment for TB and DR-TB care. The project will also document and disseminate demonstrated interventions for sustainability and phased transition to the Department of Health (DOH) and counterparts. The project's geographic focus is on the National Capital Region (NCR), Region III, Region IV-A, Region VII, and Region XII. The total budget for the FY 2023 work plan is $[insert amount]. The project's duration is from October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2023. TBIHSS will continue to build on previous years' interventions, focusing on cross-cutting approaches to find and document cases, and documenting and disseminating demonstrated interventions for sustainability and phased transition to the DOH and counterparts. The project will also continue to provide technical support to counterparts to establish an enabling environment for scale-up, rollout, and sustainability of interventions. The project's results framework includes three key objectives: rapidly expanding state-of-the-art TB case detection and health-seeking behavior, integrating high-impact practices, and creating a supportive environment for TB and DR-TB care.
