The Enterprise Energy Efficiency (3E) project in Bosnia and Herzegovina aims to implement 17 energy-efficient pilot projects throughout the country.

Abstract
The project's objectives include increasing public and private sector capacity to implement energy efficiency projects, raising public awareness of energy efficiency potential, and implementing energy-efficient measures in various sectors. The 17 pilot projects are located in different regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including Sarajevo, Tuzla, Mostar, and Banja Luka. These projects involve the implementation of various energy-efficient measures, such as the installation of new gas condensing boilers, window replacement, thermal insulation of facades, and monitoring and verification systems. One of the pilot projects is the Mechanical Engineering Faculty in Sarajevo, which implemented energy-efficient measures valued at 561,500 KM. The project included the installation of a monitoring and verification system, which resulted in a 50% reduction in energy consumption, equivalent to 412 MWh per year. The project also saved 56,000 KM per year and had a payback period of 10 years. Another pilot project is the Old High School in Mostar, which implemented energy-efficient measures valued at 350,000 KM. The project included the installation of a heating system divided into zones, automatic control of heating water temperature, new windows, and a monitoring and verification system. The project resulted in a 20% reduction in energy consumption, equivalent to 50 MWh per year, and saved 9,700 KM per year, with a payback period of 5.7 years. The 3E project also includes pilot projects in private houses in Sarajevo and Tuzla regions, which implemented thermal insulation of facades. The project resulted in a 45% reduction in energy consumption, equivalent to 550 MWh per year, and saved 22,000 KM per year, with a payback period of 8.1 years. The 3E project has partnered with various organizations, including UNDP BiH, MEF, City of Mostar, Homeowners, and Suisse Caritas. The project has also received funding from USAID, UNDP, and the City of Mostar. The project's success has demonstrated the potential for energy efficiency in various sectors and has raised public awareness of the importance of energy efficiency in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
