Abstract
The report is based on data from the project's activities and services provided to clients. The report highlights key indicators and trends in the project's performance. The project's client base expanded in June 2016, with a total of 126,416 couple years of protection (CYP) achieved. This represents a decrease of 0.5% from May 2016. The CYP achieved in June 2016 includes 81,656 from rural areas (65%) and 44,760 from urban areas (35%). The total number of service contacts increased by 4.5% in June 2016 compared to May 2016, with 3,507,470 service contacts recorded. This includes 2,010,556 service contacts from rural areas (57%) and 1,496,914 from urban areas (43%). The number of service contacts who qualify as poor increased by 0.7% in June 2016, with 1,471,895 service contacts classified as poor. The project's delivery services also showed an increase in June 2016, with 3,187 deliveries recorded. This includes 1,121 home deliveries and 2,066 facility deliveries. The number of facility deliveries decreased by 1.1% in June 2016 compared to May 2016. The project's Ante Natal Care (ANC) services also showed an increase in June 2016, with 158,398 ANC visits recorded. This includes 72,667 ANC visits from rural areas and 85,731 from urban areas. The number of ANC visits increased by 4.3% in June 2016 compared to May 2016. The project's Essential Newborn Care (ENC) services also showed an increase in June 2016, with 22,663 ENC visits recorded. This includes 11,008 ENC visits from rural areas and 11,655 from urban areas. The number of ENC visits increased by 10.6% in June 2016 compared to May 2016. The project's performance is monitored through various indicators, including CYP, service contacts, deliveries, ANC visits, and ENC visits.
