Abstract
The report contains data on key indicators related to health service delivery, including client base expansion, service contacts, and maternal and child health outcomes. The client base expansion, as measured by Couple Years of Protection (CYP), decreased by 0.1% in July 2016 compared to June 2016, with a total of 126,318 CYP achieved. The rural and urban distribution of CYP was 83,423 (66%) and 42,895 (34%), respectively. The total number of service contacts decreased by 3% in July 2016 compared to June 2016, with a total of 3,401,144 service contacts recorded. The rural and urban distribution of service contacts was 2,011,191 (59%) and 1,389,953 (41%), respectively. The percentage of service contacts who qualify as poor decreased by 2.1% in July 2016 compared to June 2016, with a total of 1,399,141 service contacts to the poor recorded. The rural and urban distribution of service contacts to the poor was 747,218 (37.2%) and 651,923 (46.9%), respectively. The total number of deliveries with a Skilled Birth Attendant (SBA) increased by 1.5% in July 2016 compared to June 2016, with a total of 3,234 deliveries recorded. The rural and urban distribution of deliveries with an SBA was 1,151 (36%) and 2,083 (64%), respectively. The total number of Ante Natal Care (ANC) visits decreased by 6.9% in July 2016 compared to June 2016, with a total of 147,408 ANC visits recorded. The rural and urban distribution of ANC visits was 70,456 (48%) and 76,952 (52%), respectively. The Essential Newborn Care (ENC) provided in July 2016 was 22,124, with a rural and urban distribution of 11,197 and 10,927, respectively. The ENC decreased by 2.4% in July 2016 compared to June 2016. The overall service statistics at a glance from January 2013 to July 2016 show a total of 26,242,047 service contacts, with a breakdown by year and month. The data also shows a total of 10,992,121 maternal health services, 4,223,694 family planning services, and 1,082,790 non-ESD services.
