Grant to The Experiment in International Living (EIL) to study the feasibility of a proposed regional program to train the staff of PVO"s active in Latin America in skills related to PVO"s changing emphasis from relief activities to the meeting of basic human needs.

Abstract
Other potential trainees include personnel from host country governments and international and multilateral development agencies. EIL will determine the type and extent of training required, assess existing training resources, and develop alternatives for meeting current training needs. A financial analysis indicating the prospects for achieving self-sufficiency will also be conducted.
