Abstract
This system consists of hardware and software components, which work together to produce a court report in electronic and/or paper form. The court report includes a chronological sequence of events, such as the time of beginning of each event, its name, participants, short notes, membership of court proceeding, case name, case number, and serial number of the CD on which the recording is made. The system's performance results in a comprehensive record of court proceedings, which can be saved in electronic form on a hard drive, CD, or network resource. This allows for easy playback of the recorded session on any multimedia computer without the need for special software installation. The SRS Femida system is designed to provide an accurate and reliable record of court proceedings, which can be used for various purposes, including trial documentation and evidence preservation. The system's hardware components include microphones, which are used for audio recording, and possibly video recording equipment, such as cameras. The software component is the SRS Femida program, which is used to operate the system and manage the recording process. The program allows users to select the operation mode, enter main information on the case, and prepare for court reporting. The SRS Femida system offers several features, including the ability to record and play back audio and video recordings, create court reports in electronic and/or paper form, and save recordings on various storage devices. The system also allows for the editing of templates, which can be used to customize the court report format. Additionally, the system provides a digital signature feature, which can be used to verify the authenticity and integrity of the recorded data. In the event of an emergency electrical power outage, the SRS Femida system provides guidelines for recommended user activities, including announcing a trial break, stopping the recording, shutting down the program, and powering down the system. This ensures that the system is properly shut down and that the recording is not lost in the event of a power outage. The SRS Femida system also offers additional program settings, including the ability to configure keyboard hotkeys and manage a list of trials, including deletion, renaming, and import of trials from a secondary archive. These features provide users with flexibility and control over the system's operation and data management.
