Abstract
The sessions were held at the PC's Committee Room and were delivered by Lead HR & Labor consultant Alia Zafar, with one session also delivered by Consultant Coordinator. The workshop aimed to orient PC employees on different organizational structure relating concepts to effectively participate in proposed organizational structure relating activities. The workshop focused on introducing participants to the concepts of organization, organizational structure, and organizational design through interactive discussions and group activities. The participants were introduced to the concept of 21 basic functions of an organization and were engaged in an interactive group discussion to group these functions into seven major groups. The trainer(s) helped participants determine the respective group of a function by explaining the function and providing examples. The workshop also covered the benefits and impact of a well-functioning organization and how it assists an organization to achieve its objectives. The participants were asked to provide feedback on the relevance of the content, information gained, and learning techniques used during the workshop. The feedback analysis showed that the participants found the content relevant and gained valuable information, with some suggesting that they would like to learn more about change management, conflict management, and stress management in the future. The agenda for the workshop included basic concepts, PC current organizational structure, and participants' views on the issues. The facilitator's guide outlined the content and methodology for the workshop, including interactive discussions, group activities, and multimedia presentations. The workshop aimed to develop a comfort zone for participants to share their views openly and to provide a platform for them to learn and discuss organizational structure and design concepts. The workshop covered various topics, including the definition of an organization, organizational structure, and organizational design. The facilitator used interactive discussions and group activities to engage participants and help them understand the concepts. The workshop also covered the concept of form or pattern of an organization, which was explained using examples and multimedia presentations.
