Abstract
He recently broke up with his boyfriend and has been feeling lonely. In an effort to meet new people, Xiao Jiang considers various options for socializing. His first decision is whether to bring a condom with him, a crucial consideration for safe and responsible interactions. Xiao Jiang decides to meet his friends at a local gay bar. Upon arrival, they encourage him to drink with them. The amount of alcohol Xiao Jiang consumes is a significant factor in his evening's events. His friends suggest he drink a lot, but Xiao Jiang also considers drinking a little and still having a good time. Xiao Jiang and his friends ultimately drink a lot, and he meets a handsome man while intoxicated. They get a room together, but both are too drunk to use a condom. This oversight has severe consequences, as Xiao Jiang discovers five months later that he has tested positive for HIV. In a different scenario, Xiao Jiang decides to drink a little and still have a good time with his friends. While using the bathroom, he encounters an old boyfriend with whom he had a previous relationship. They reconnect and Xiao Jiang invites the man to get a room together. However, he must first consider whether he has a condom with him. Fortunately, Xiao Jiang has a condom, and he and his old boyfriend have a romantic evening together. They exchange phone numbers, and Xiao Jiang is happy to have rekindled their relationship. This outcome highlights the importance of safe sex practices and responsible decision-making in social situations.
