MOMENTUM Technical Brief: Behaviorally Applied Political Economy Analysis in Ebonyi and Sokoto States, Nigeria

The analysis aimed to understand the complex contextual and sociological factors hindering the achievement of safer behaviors that protect the health and rights of young women. The brief highlights the role of local leadership in promoting positive social norms and implementing laws and policies related to intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and child early and forced marriage. It also presents the findings of the BF-APEA, including the prioritized behaviors of local leaders, the legal and policy analysis, and the recommendations for MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership.
