Abstract
The objectives include building on the success of 2015's brown bags, which covered topics of interest to participants. The calendar also aims to use technology to expand the reach of seminars and publish recordings and materials on F2F.org. Four scheduled events are listed, including a Monitoring and Evaluation brown bag on March 22, 2016, which will cover standard F2F indicators, M&E indicators, and crafting custom indicators. A PERSUAP webinar is scheduled for May 19, 2016, which will discuss the requirements for implementers, the Mission perspective, and what it is to be a PERSUAP. The F2F Recruiters' Round is scheduled for July 21, 2016, which will cover the role of Farmer-to-Farmer.org, partnering with niche organizations, and minority recruitment. A Current in Agriculture webinar is scheduled for September 21, 2016, which will cover a topic to be determined. Additional presentations will be scheduled as needed, including the release of safety and security guidelines, a special study results briefing, and a lessons learned briefing. Other topics to be covered include standard indicator releases, PERSUAP, best practices in minority recruitment, and presentations by SPSP grantees and subject matter experts. The calendar also mentions relationships and communication with staff, security plans and protocols, and training to USAID on associate training. The calendar highlights the importance of disseminating information to implementers and using technology to expand the reach of seminars. It also emphasizes the need for standard indicator releases and best practices in minority recruitment. The topics to be covered in the calendar are diverse and aim to provide implementers with the necessary information to carry out their work effectively.
