Abstract
Hostels are single-sex dormitories built by the government for people working in urban areas, but with permanent residence in rural areas. Hostel dwellers have often been the recipients of attacks from local residents, who view the dwellers as a source of threats and violence. The Committee is collecting information on certain incidents of violence, and the primary purpose of this grant to ensure that the members of hostel associations participate in these hearings.
